Top of the Hill, or TOPO, as they call them on the hill, has a brewery, a Back Bar, and they even have space that you can rent for special occasions. That’s just about all you need, right?
District Roof Top Bar & Grille claims to be Winston-Salem’s first rooftop bar boasting a panoramic view of downtown.
Fahrenheit has a full service bar with a la carte dining, private dining rooms and a fascinating view of Uptown Charlotte’s skyline as a backdrop.
Western North Carolina knows how to capitalize on its breathtaking views. Sky Bar is a part of World Coffee Café in the Flatiron Builiding. They even have a doorman. How great is that?
The roof deck at Solas overlooks Glenwood South. If the rooftop isn’t your vibe, try one of their other levels which includes a lounge, two private dining rooms and a dance floor.
Sunset Terrace is the Grove Park Inn’s classic steakhouse. Be warned, it’s a challenge to think about eating with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and downtown Asheville right out the window.
Though this isn’t a rooftop restaurant or bar, we had to include the Babylon’s courtyard for the ambiance alone. It has been proclaimed to be “probably the most amazing patio in the entire Triangle.”
